D System Keg Coupler - Brass/Brass
The standard American keg coupler — the one nearly every domestic brewery and most craft breweries pour through. This is the D-system Sankey coupler, chrome-plated brass body and brass probe, with a pull-lever handle sized for 1/6 BBL (small-diameter) kegs. Drop it on a commercial keg, pull the handle, pour.
Why D-system
- The US standard: Coors, Bud, Sierra Nevada, your local craft brewery — almost all of them use D-system Sankey valves on their kegs.
- One-motion tap: Pull out, pull down — the keg is tapped. No special tools, no fiddling.
- Brass-on-brass durability: Chrome-plated brass body and probe stand up to years of commercial-grade use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit any 1/6 BBL keg from a US brewery?
Yes — D-system is the standard for nearly all US-brewed kegs including 1/6 BBL.
What about European or import kegs?
Many European kegs use the S-system Sankey valve instead. See our S System Keg Coupler for those.
What's the difference between this and a party pump?
This is a CO2-driven coupler — it connects to a regulator and gas line. A party pump uses hand-pumped air, which oxidizes beer fast (good for one party, bad for the keg).
Pairs Well With
Pair with our CGA-320 Regulator for full-tank CO2 service, or use the D System Party Pump for hand-pumped occasional use.
