What Keg Smiths makes
Keg Smiths builds portable draft systems that keep beer, cold brew, kombucha and cocktails carbonated and pouring like they just left the tap. Every keg is 304 stainless steel, pressurised by a threaded CO2 or nitrogen cartridge instead of a bulky tank, and sized to fit a fridge, a cooler or the back of a truck. Systems come in 64 oz and 128 oz capacities, and every part on them is a replaceable part we stock.

- CO2 and nitrogen cartridges - beverage-grade 16 g and 74 g CO2, plus 2.4 g through 18 g nitrogen.

CO2 or nitrogen?
Use CO2 for beer, seltzer, soda and anything you want sharply carbonated; it is also what force-carbonates a flat batch. Use nitrogen for stouts, nitro cold brew coffee and creamy cocktails, where the smaller bubbles give the cascading pour and dense head. The same Keg Smiths keg body takes either gas - only the cartridge and faucet change, so one system can run both.
