Stainess Steel Flow Control Plug
Slow the flow, save the foam — and get auto-close on every pour. The Stainless Steel Flow Control Plug installs inline with your faucet to restrict pour rate (perfect for highly-carbonated beers) and adds spring-loaded auto-close so the faucet shuts itself the second you let go of the handle.
Why a flow control plug
- Tames foam: Highly carbonated beers (IPAs, Belgians, hop-bombs) over-foam at standard flow rates. The flow control plug slows the pour to a clean stream.
- Auto-close spring: Release the tap handle and the spring shuts the faucet automatically — no drips, no over-pours, no wasted beer.
- Stainless construction: Won't corrode, won't pick up flavor, fits the same hygiene standard as the rest of your draft hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with my Keg Smiths faucet?
Yes — fits standard draft shanks, including all Keg Smiths setups.
Different from the Flow Control Block?
The Flow Control Block is a stainless body that goes between shank and faucet (no spring). This adds the spring-loaded auto-close. Choose this if you want hands-off close behavior.
