Mini Keg Parts & Accessories

Every part of a Keg Smiths draft system is replaceable, which is the whole point — a mini keg should last years, not seasons. This is where you find the O-rings, hoses, spears, regulators, faucets, and fittings that keep your setup pouring the way it did on day one.

Wear parts first. If your keg is losing pressure between sessions, the cause is almost always a tired seal. Our O-ring replacement kit covers every seal on the system and takes about five minutes to swap. Replace them every 6–12 months, or any time the regulator seems to be working harder than it should. Beer line and the growler cap are the other two parts that see the most wear.

Gas and pressure. A replacement CO2 regulator restores precise pressure control if yours has drifted. Pouring stout or running nitro? The 60 PSI Big Boy regulator pushes harder than a standard unit. If you would rather refill from a bulk tank than buy cartridges, the CGA320 tank adapter connects your regulator to a full-size CO2 cylinder.

Pour quality. Foaming is usually a flow problem, not a gas problem. A flow control block or stainless flow control plug slows the beer down before it reaches the faucet. For a real upgrade, the Intertap forward-sealing faucet seals at the front so beer never dries inside the tap, and the stout tip screws on for cascading nitro pours.

Homebrew and kegerator builds. The ball lock spear converts a Keg Smiths keg to standard ball lock fittings, so it drops straight into a kegerator or homebrew rig. Pair it with disconnect posts and the conversion kit.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I replace my keg O-rings?

Every 6–12 months with regular use, or immediately if you are losing pressure overnight. O-rings are the cheapest part on the system and the most common cause of a flat keg.

Are Keg Smiths parts compatible with other mini kegs?

Our ball lock fittings, disconnects, and faucets use standard homebrew sizing, so they work with most systems. Spears, caps, and O-rings are sized specifically for Keg Smiths 128oz kegs.

Why is my beer pouring all foam?

Usually too much pressure, too little line resistance, or beer that is too warm. Drop your PSI, add a flow control block, and make sure the keg has been cold for at least 12 hours.

Can I put a stout faucet on a CO2 system?

You can, but the cascading effect needs nitrogen. On CO2 a stout tip will simply restrict flow. See our nitro systems for the full setup.
